The Brief

We were contacted by Fundamentas to design their existing website.

They wanted a website that showcased their services and promoted their business in the right way. The result was a mobile-friendly e-commerce website that allows potential and existing customers to purchase merchandise and search by postcode for shops and sellers nearby.

The site is built in WordPress so they can easily manage the content themselves moving forward.

Core Features

The client informed us that they wanted to sell items through their site.

We decided to use WooCommerce to help us create the shop page, payments and shipping. This allows the client to sell items from there to store to anywhere in the world or a singular post code area depending on the preferences of the client.

We then added a grid for the products on the shop page for design and then added a sidebar with filters such as category and brand to improve the user experience.

Colours Used

For this project we used the client’s brand colours which are Dark Turquoise, White and Safety Orange. Our web design team based in Manchester used these colours throughout the site to keep the branding consistent.

I decided to try a new website company after my previous one seriously let me down cannot describe them as anything other than a cowboy - ever since the start with Strand creative although the previous website was not up to their standards by any means they worked courteously and effectively alongside me to get the best out of what I had already paid for they worked on my SEO & content which meant that more traffic came my way and they are currently doing a full renovation of my website because I trust them indefinitely with anything to do with marketing your business online they have been fantastic and are always at your beck and call, I am approached weekly by many companies saying they could do the same thing but I just know that they could not do it better !! As to do it better than strand creative is an impossibility in my eyes!
